Sometimes it becomes necessary to disconnect from the confusion and frustration of the outside world and take time to love oneself in a special way.
Perhaps you just need time to be with yourself or a significant other. Perhaps you are ill, want to lose weight, or want to stop an addictive habit. Perhaps you are having difficulty in a relationship. Perhaps you have become lost in a business or a career. If so, an Eagle's Nest retreat can be a powerful life-enhancing experience.
Eagle's Nest Retreats are of four general types:
Personal Retreats - Personal Retreats are for those who seek a quiet, supportive space for prayer, meditation and introspection. Counseling and lomi-lomi is available to help a person find a renewed sense of inner balance and a restored flow of life energy.
Spiritual Retreats - Spiritual retreats are designed to produce personal spiritual growth along the path of enlightenment. These retreats emphasize instruction in a variety of spiritual skills and perspectives, combined with plenty of time for prayer, mediation, counseling and questions
Healing Retreats - Healing retreats are geared to healing physical issues and discovering the gifts of wisdom that they make available. Retreats begin with an in-depth discussion during which your particular physical and spiritual condition will be assessed and a program will be custom tailored to fit your individual needs.
Relationship Retreats - Relationship retreats are geared to solving relationship problems. They are centered in the ancient Hawai'ian process of Ho'oponopono (to put back into balance that which has gone out of balance). Participants learn communication and conflict resolution skills, along with many other skills required to create balanced, loving and compassionate relationships.
All retreats are tailored specifically to individuals needs, abilities, and goals. Each retreat has time for a certain number of sessions that involve formal work with a kahuna. Each session is normally 90 minutes long. Any modality may be used in any session depending on where the flow of your retreat is going. A modality is a service provided by a kahuna such as instruction, counseling, lomi-lomi, ho'oponopono, etc.
Any particular modality may span more than one session and one session may include more than one modality. A list of the modalities available and a description of each follows this section on retreats. They are divided into Spiritual Programs, and La'au Lapa'au (Natural Medicine) Programs.
Custom retreats may be structured for any time frame. Normal weekend retreats begin Friday evening at 7 pm and lasts through Sunday noon. Normal weeklong retreats begin Sunday afternoon at 2 pm and last through Friday morning. Check in time is anytime after 2 pm. Check out time is 11 am.
Most retreats include a full meal plan appropriate for the type of retreat requested. Vegetarian meals are available upon request. A variety of snacks and beverages are available throughout the day.
Whether you come for a retreat or a simple stay for bed & breakfast, your payment to Eagle's Nest Sanctuary is a fully tax-deductible donation to the Ho'ala Huna Foundation. Prices quoted are the suggested minimum donations required to keep our facility open and operating. We welcome and appreciate donations in addition to these amounts. Your generosity helps us expand our programs, and make retreats possible for those who cannot afford much in the way of a monetary donation.
If you cannot afford the suggested minimum donation, make us aware of what you can afford and we will attempt to provide you with financial assistance, either out of our operating funds, or by finding you a sponsor who would like to support your retreat.
